Greater Oroville Community Outreach

Craft Projects

"Outreach projects and events to raise awareness
and support for those with cancer and survivors."

Crafts for the Cause

Joining with the American Cancer Society for Oroville's Relay for Life in May of each year.
Volunteers meet six times yearly on the second Tuesday from 10:00-12:00 at the Greater Oroville Family Resource Center.

Community craft days are open to community members interested in volunteering. Projects include handmade ribbons for cancer awareness, jewelry making including earrings and necklaces. New ideas and your creativity is welcome!

The craft sessions provide an opportunity to socialize as well as contribute to outreach activities that support community members. The handmade items are offered for sale at reasonable prices.

Donations of art supplies, ribbon, lace and buttons are always welcome.

Contact project volunteers for further information on volunteering or for donations and materials that are needed. Helpers are always welcome at annual events for our booths.
