Greater Oroville Community Outreach
The Oroville Women Cancer Support (OWCS) is a group of women who get together once a month to socialize and to encourage one another in the survival process. It is a time to share our experiences and to hear speakers on various topics relating to diet and health. We also put together Cancer Survival Kits that are placed in the hospital, doctor’s offices and in the Radiation Oncology Department. “In our journey with cancer, let our paths cross to inspire and support one another.”
Our meetings are upbeat and inspirational. We have members who bring poems or short stories to share and we are all ready to assist each other in the recovery process. We would love to have you attend if you have just been diagnosed, or are starting your treatment, or if you are a survivor. The road to recovery is always easier when there are helping hands to support you.
If you would like to be placed on our e-mail or regular mail list please contact us with your name and address. Contact Margaret @ 533-4137
